Beach Shuttle FAQs
Where does the beach shuttle go?
We run drop-offs and pick-ups at North Beach Island, which is reachable only by boat, and guided trips to North Monomoy when conditions allow.
What time do the boats run?
Departures leave every hour from 9am to 3pm, and the last boat over to the beach is the 3pm. Return pickups run every hour from 10am to 4pm, and the 4:00pm is the last pickup of the day.
How much does the shuttle cost?
Fares are $35 for adults and $30 for children, round trip. Parking is separate: $30 per car for the full day.
Where do we park?
On site at the marina, 83 Seagull Road in Chatham, for $30 per car for the full day. There is no off-site lot or walk.
What should we bring?
Towels, chairs, sunscreen, snacks and water. Restrooms are at the marina rather than on the boats or the beach, so plan around that before you board.
Can we bring our dog?
Not on the shuttle. Scheduled group trips, including the beach shuttle and the seal cruise, are people only. Dogs are welcome on private seal charters.
Is there a minimum age?
No. There is no minimum age and young children are welcome.
What happens if the weather turns?
Trips are weather-dependent for safety. We watch the forecast and will be in touch if conditions mean we cannot run.
