Outermost Harbor Marine (“we”, “us”) runs this website, our booking site at
book.outermostharbor.com, and the
customer portal at app.outermostharbor.com.
This page explains what we collect, why, and who else sees it. If anything here is
unclear, call us on 508-945-2030 and ask.

What we collect
When you book a tour, charter or dockage
Your name, email address, phone number, the trip or space you booked, the number
of people in your party, and — for dockage — your vessel’s make, model and length.
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four
digits of the card; we never see or store your full card number.
When you fill in a form or email us
Contact forms, service request forms and lease paperwork collect what the form
asks for: typically name, email, phone, address, and details about your boat or the
work you need. Service and lease records are kept as part of your customer file.
When you sign a lease online
For a digital dockage lease we record your typed signature, the date and time,
your IP address and browser, and your consent to sign electronically. That record
exists so the signed agreement is verifiable.
When you use the chat assistant
Messages you type into the chat window on this site are sent to Anthropic’s API
to generate a reply, and we keep a log of the conversation so we can follow up on
questions it could not answer. Do not type card numbers or other sensitive details
into the chat.
When you subscribe to our newsletter
Your name and email address, handled through Constant Contact. Every newsletter
carries an unsubscribe link.
Automatically, as you browse
Like most websites we record page views, the pages you came from and moved to,
approximate location derived from your IP address, and device and browser type.
This comes from Google Analytics and the Meta pixel, described below. Our sites sit
behind Cloudflare, which processes requests and keeps its own security logs.
Cookies and tracking
We use:
- Google Analytics to understand which pages and tours people
look at, and which marketing brings them here. - The Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure our advertising and to
show ads to people who have visited the site. - Stripe, which sets cookies needed to process a payment
securely and to detect fraud. - Necessary cookies that keep a booking or a login working while
you move between pages.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of
Google Analytics with Google’s
browser add-on,
and adjust Meta ad targeting in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. Blocking
necessary cookies may stop a booking from completing.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the companies
that make the service work:
- Stripe — payments.
- Google — analytics, and the calendar we schedule trips on.
- Meta — advertising measurement.
- Resend and Google Workspace — sending and receiving email.
- Constant Contact — the newsletter.
- Anthropic — the chat assistant.
- Cloudflare and our hosting providers — delivering the sites.
- Our captains and partner charter operators — the manifest for
your trip, so they know who is coming aboard.
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or
defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for at least seven years, because they are
business and tax records. Customer, boat, service and lease files are kept for as
long as you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards, since boat
service history stays useful for years. Chat logs and marketing analytics are kept
for a shorter period. Newsletter subscribers are removed on unsubscribe.
Your choices
- See or correct your information. Ask us and we will tell you
what we hold about you and fix anything wrong. - Ask us to delete it. We will, except where we are required to
keep a record — a completed transaction or a signed lease, for example. - Stop marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link, or tell us.
We will still send you booking confirmations and service messages about work you
have asked for.
Write to [email protected]
or call 508-945-2030.
Children
Our tours are family trips and children are welcome aboard, but this website is
meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child
under 13. A parent or guardian books the trip and gives us the party details.
Security
Our sites use HTTPS, card data goes straight to Stripe, and access to customer
records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we do
not promise that it is.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
